The British brand already has global campuses in Vietnam, China and Saudi Arabia. The school in Kuala Lumpur is set to be ready in January 2025, after a refurbishment of the purpose-built campus is finished.
The school took to LinkedIn on Tuesday to announce the addition to its franchise, in partnership with Beaconhouse Malaysia – a preschool and international school provider in Kuala Lumpur.
Beaconhouse Malaysia said in the social media post that Reigate Grammar School Kuala Lumpur will offer “a curriculum that embodies British educational excellence”.
The grammar school will open in a purpose-built facility at Kajang Il, currently undergoing “comprehensive refurbishment”. The campus will feature cutting-edge amenities and future boarding facilities.

It will also facilitate international exchange programmes, joint projects and competitions, “fostering a global mindset among students”, according to Beaconhouse Malaysia.
Beaconhouse Malaysia has an operational presence in eight countries, operating 860 campuses globally including preschools, and national and international schools, according to its website.
The news follows the latest phase of Pearson’s partnership with Universiti Malaya.
The partnership will pave the way for several initiatives, including student and academic staff exchanges, joint research activities, as well as an exchange in academic materials and information.
